In this case study, the client Haley M., wanted to bring beauty and value to their new home by installing new landscaping. Their primary request - keep it simple and low maintenance.

Process

Before beginning the project, we met with the client to get a better idea of what they wanted their landscaping to look like. Since they were starting with a clean slate and wanted to install simple, low maintenance landscpaing, we quoted them what it would cost to start from scratch and install landscaping that was simple, yet low maintenance.

Summary of Project

As a company that specializes in lawn care and landscaping, we knew we could install our clients simple, yet low maintenance landscaping. Not only did we meet our client’s expectations, but we also added value to her home.

In this case, our client was starting with a clean slate for us to install landscaping that was simple and low maintenance.

To start off, we consulted with the client and got a better understanding of what they wanted to accomplish during the course of the project. While meeting with the client, we assessed what needed to be done and discussed the look they wanted around the home. Taking all aspects of the project into consideration, we prepared an estimate for the materials and labor hours.

Once the estimate was accepted and we had a plan in place, our crew began digging a trench and adding a lime dust base to install the Eden Tumbled Edgers.  Then they hand selected and installed each edger piece by piece.

When that was complete, they installed commercial grade weed barrier fabric to eliminate weeds.  This fabric is porous so water can still leach into the ground and keep the plants watered.

After all that was complete, they installed plant material with soil amendments.

To wrap up the whole project, they installed large blue trap rock.  By installing this kind of rock, there are typically less weeds since there is no organic matter to break down.

As with any job, after completion, we met with the client to ensure satisfaction and receive feedback.
